Guest Tiger Paw Instructor Barberio and his Crunch Team Mates Thru to Conference Finals

Tiger Paw Guest Instructor, second team all-star in AHL, Mark Barberio and his Syracuse Crunch team mates have defeated the Springfield Falcons in a four game sweep to proceed to the American Hockey league Conference Finals.

The four game sweep is the first in the history of the Syracuse Crunch and their trip to the conference final is their first in 17 years.

Its ironic that the Crunch are experiencing all these firsts as their team is made up predominantly of the Calder Cup Champion Norfolk Admirals of 2011-2012, as Tampa Bay relocated its affiliate to Syracuse following the championship season.
